In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 and in pursuance of the Government of India notification S.O. 1533(E) dated 14th Sept. 2006, central Government constituted Madhya Pradesh State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) vide an extraordinary Gazettee of India No. dated 8th January 2008.
